The Mining Settlement is almost an exact replica of the medieval mining settlement, which consists of devices built in 1: 1 scale. All devices work, which can be checked by every visitor. These devices are impressive in size, 5-meter treadmill, 3-ton promenade and the scale with which they were built. They were all based on the medieval engravings of Georgius Agricola.
